# Change the name of your project and organization
> Rename your project and organization.
## Changing the name of a project
To change the name of a project, you must be an admin of the project.
To change the name of a project, you should do the following:
1. Click on your user icon in the top left of your workspace.
2. Click on `Manage organization`.
3. Find the project you want to change the name of and expand it.
4. Click the option menu for your project and select `Edit`.
5. Change the name or description of your project.
6. Click `Save`!
## Changing the name of your organization
To change the name of your organization, you must be an admin of the organization.
To change the name of your organization, you should do the following:
1. Click on your user icon in the top left of your workspace.
2. Click on `Manage organization`.
3. Click `Plan & Billing`.
4. Click the pencil icon next to your organization name.
5. Change the name of your organization.
6. Click the tick icon to save your changes!
