# 'Slack - Send Message' Tool step

## Add the 'Slack - Send Message' Tool step to your Tool

You can add the 'Slack - Send Message' Tool step to your Tool by:

1. Creating a new Tool, then searching for the 'Slack: Send Message' Tool step
2. Click 'Expand' to see the full Tool step
3. Select the Slack channel you want to send the message to
4. Add your message in the 'Message' field
5. Click 'Run step' to test out your Tool step
