Recruitment fraud and job scams

We're aware of fraudulent job postings and recruitment messages impersonating Relevance AI on external career sites. These have no connection to us, and we're actively working to have them removed. Here's how to check that a role, recruiter, or offer is genuine — and what to do if you've been contacted.

How to check a role is really ours
  • Every open role is listed on our official careers page. If a posting isn't there, it isn't ours.
  • Our team only contacts candidates from @relevanceai.com email addresses.
  • We don't use third-party recruitment agencies to contact candidates or run our hiring process on our behalf.
  • Official company announcements come from our LinkedIn page.

We will never

  • Ask you to pay fees at any stage of the hiring process
  • Ask you to purchase equipment, from a specific vendor or otherwise
  • Ask for banking details, passwords, or other sensitive financial or identity information during hiring
  • Ask you to scan QR codes or download unfamiliar software or apps
  • Contact you through unofficial messaging apps or personal email addresses
  • Make you a job offer without a proper interview process

Red flags to watch for

  • A job ad on an external job board that doesn't appear on our careers page, or an apply button that doesn't lead to our site
  • Emails from any domain other than @relevanceai.com — watch for lookalikes with extra words, hyphens, or a different ending
  • Pressure to act urgently or respond within a very short time frame
  • An offer for a role you never applied or interviewed for
  • Requests to move the conversation to WhatsApp, Telegram, or a personal email address
  • Guaranteed employment, or pay that seems too good to be true

If you've been contacted

Don't respond, click any links, or share personal information. If you're unsure whether a message or posting is genuine, email screenshots to talent@relevanceai.com and we'll confirm either way — and report fraudulent postings to the job board they appeared on.

You can also report job scams to Scamwatch in Australia, the FTC in the United States, or your local consumer protection authority. If you've shared financial information or made a payment, contact your bank immediately.
